Explore Laxey Seaside, Coast and Beaches

Laxey is an Isle of Man east coast village at a midpoint between Ramsey to the north and Douglas in the south.

Laxey is known as a tourist destination due to its waterwheel and vintage railways, Laxey has a stop on the Manx Electric Railway and you can then switch to the Snaefell Mountain Railway which takes you 6.4 km (4 miles) to the top of Snaefell. The Laxey Wheel is the largest working waterwheel in the world.

It is not just about the heritage, any visit should include Old Laxey to see the excellent beach and harbour.
