Explore Peel Seaside, Coast and Beaches

Peel is a fishing port and seaside town on the west coast of the Isle of Man and is the third largest town after Douglas and Ramsey. It is known as "Sunset City" as it enjoys some spectacular sunsets. Peel is a popular seaside destination due to its harbour, narrow streets, red stone buildings and Victorian promenade. The harbour entrance is protected by Peel Castle located on St Patrick's Isle which today is connected to the town by a causeway. Peel harbour and fishing boats are the home to the Manx Kippers which are smoke-cured locally and can be found in many restaurants.
