Explore Padstow (Cornwall) Coast and Beaches

Padstow is a charming fishing town surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches. The town is located on the westerly side of the Camel River and today the small fishing fleet supply the many restaurants in the town. Padstow has become a Cornwall foodie destination in part due to the influence of Rick Stein. Padstow although having no beach of its own is an ideal Cornwall holiday base with close by seven large bays interspersed with smaller bays and coves. In order from Padstow to Newquay you have Trevone Bay, Harlyn Bay, Mother Ivey's Bay Booby's Bay, Constantine Bay, Treyarnon Bay, and Porthcothan Bay. The coastal path winds its way along the cliff tops offering up some hard to get to coves and some stunning views, with one of our favourites being the Trevose Head peninsula. The coast path also crosses the estuary from Padstow to Rock via the Black Tor ferry.
