Pendeen is a small village but sits within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and at the heart of Cornwall and West Devon Mining World Heritage Site.

Pendeen itself is a small picturesque village with 19th Century stone miners cottages, church, couple of pubs and a variety of local shops.
