Explore Bangor Beaches and Coastline

Bangor lies five miles from Newtownards if you cut over the top of the peninsula and go past the Somme Heritage centre. This is a maritime resort and a major tourist destination in the county as it overlooks a large marina and stunning landscaped gardens with a long promenade that leads you to a family fun park! It’s perfect for a Summer evening out with the kids as there are swan shaped pedal boats, paddling pools, sandpits, playgrounds, shops, clubs, pubs and cinemas. Perfect for exploring the area from if you book accommodation there.
