Explore Cromer (Norfolk) Seaside, Coast and Beaches

Cromer is a traditional seaside resort in Norfolk and well known for the Cromer Crab which still forms a major part of the local fishing industry. Cromer developed as a tourist destination in the Victorian period with a pier and is a good base for touring this part of Norfolk. Cromer stands between stretches of coastal cliffs which, to the east, are up to 70 metres (230 ft) high. The cliffs on this part of the Norfolk coastline area offer a great location for fossil hunting and beachcombing.
