Explore Great Yarmouth (Norfolk) Seaside, Coast and Beaches

Great Yarmouth, often just known as Yarmouth, is a Norfolk coastal town on the North Sea. Located at the mouth of the River Yare, 30km (20 miles) east of Norwich. Great Yarmouth's 'Golden Mile' seafront is packed with amusements, attractions, adventure golf, pubs, restaurants and a great view over the beach and out to sea. The promenade has two piers, Britannia pier and Wellington pier. You also have the option of moving away from the amusements to more natural beaches. Yarmouth was a fishing port but now fishing has all but stopped and the harbour now services the offshore natural gas rigs and the wind farm. Great Yarmouth is a great location and holioday base as you get both the Norfolk North Sea coastline and the Broads National Park.
