Explore Hunstanton (Norfolk) Seaside, Coast and Beaches

Hunstanton faces west across The Wash, making it one of the few places on the east coast where the sun can be seen setting over the sea. The Hunstanton you see today is actually New Hunstanton and was built as a 19th Century resort town adjacent to the old village which is known as Old Hunstanton and has a quieter atmosphere. Hunstanton is a great gateway to West Norfolk's beaches, and in addition to Hunstanton beach you have some great beaches at Heacham, Old Hunstanton, Brancaster and Holkham Bay.
