King's Lynn (Norfolk) Seaside, Coast and Beaches

King's Lynn has a historic centre and the town has been an important port since the 12th Century and its maritime past can be still seen when wondering through the town. The town sits where the River Great Ouse enters into The Wash which is one of the broadest estuaries in the United Kingdom.

King's Lynn often acts as a base for visiting the Queen's home at Sandringham and other great country houses in the Norfolk area.
