Explore Tenby (Pembrokeshire) Coast and Beaches

Tenby is a seaside town on the western side of Carmarthen Bay. This walled town has pastel-coloured buildings and traffic-free tiny lanes where Tenby's varied beaches are some of the best in Pembrokeshire, boasting dunes and gently sloping sandy shores.

  • North & Harbour Beach - sheltered sandy beach and promenade in the town. At low tide you also get some sand within the harbour.
  • South Beach - one and half miles of sand, gentle slopes into the water ideal for all the family.
  • Castle Beach - with cliffs at the back of you a very interesting small beach that all but disappears at high tide.
All these Tenby beaches offer slightly different experiences and even on busy hot summer days you can find space on one of them but still be a short walk from Tenby itself.
