Magheroarty Beach
Magheroarty Beach is a remote and unspoilt sandy curving beach with nice views to the nearby islands of Inishbofin and Tory. The beach is backed by large sand dunes.
The beach is popular with surfers, windsurfers and kitesurfers due to it’s remoteness and west coast position.
Daily ferries available to take foot passengers to the islands leaves from the pier at Magheroarty, weather permitting.
Magheroarty Beach has been awarded a regional Seaside Award.
