Chapel Bay Beach
Chapel Bay beach is within a horseshoe bay backed by a promenade and some grass areas. The beach itself is a large sandy beach with flat rocks and rockpools on either side although at high tide you don’t have access to any sand.
Port St Mary is a large village in the southwest of Isle of Man. At one end of the bay you have two connected harbours, the inner harbour, with its pier created in 1812, is tidal and dries out from half-tide, whilst the outer harbour, created in 1882, is accessible at all tide levels. There is a nice walkway that runs from the beach to the harbour hugging the coast.
Facilities at Chapel Beach include parking in the village or limited spaces at Gansey Point, and the village offers a selection of places to eat.

Why not check other beaches nearby as we have 2 beaches at Port St Mary, 7 beaches in Rushen, or check our list of Rushen Dog Friendly Beaches.
