- Scarborough lifeboat station was established in 1801 and operates two lifeboats. Station open daily and shop has restricted opening times.
- The Staithes and Runswick lifeboat station has had a open-closed history.Established in 1875. Closed in 1922 due to difficulty in launching the lifeboat and in finding a crew. Re-opened in 1928 as the fishing industry built up again. Closed again in 1938. In January 1978 an Atlantic 21 Class lifeboat was sent to Staithes for evaluation trials. These trials were successful and it was decided to establish an inshore lifeboat station which became operational from 31 March 1978 and the All-Weather lifeboat at Runswick Station was withdrawn on 30 June 1978. The station was renamed Staithes and Runswick on the re-opening of the station in March 1978.
- Filey lifeboat station was established in 1804 and now operates two lifeboats, an all-weather and inshore lifeboat at the station. The lifeboats are launched via a tractor from the beach. Station and shop open (seasonal hours) to visitors.
- Whitby lifeboat station was established in 1802 and now has two lifeboats; an inshore and all weather. Whitby lifeboat station is open weekdays and Sunday with the shop open in the summer.
- Redcar lifeboat station was established in 1802. Station ios open on Sundays or by appointment, shop daily March – December.
