Royal Irish Fusiliers Museum Info
The Royal Irish Fusiliers Museum takes you through the story of the regiment up to 1968.
The exhibitions are fantastic with a large scale model of the capture of the Imperial French Eagle at the Battle of Barrose in 1811.
The Fusiliers was an Irish infantry regiment of the British Army and saw service in the Napoleonic Wars as well as the Burmese War of 1824, the Crimean War and the Boer War to name but a few!
Admission is free and opening times are usually from 10am to 4pm but do check their website for details.
