Information
Cwmtydu beach is a sandy/pebble beach with rocks on either side in a small protected cove at the end of a wooded valley.
An old lime kiln, restored by the National Trust, is at the top of the beach by the car park.
Good base for coastal walks as it is on the Heritage Coast Path and from August you have a chance to see Atlantic Grey Seals with their pups in amongst the rocks.
Facilities include toilets, seasonal cafe, small car park by the beach and a larger a few hundred yards back up the road.
We have no current information on dog restrictions for Cwmtydu Beach.
