Penmaenmawr beach is sandy backed by a promenade and overlooks the Menai Straits. The beach is sandy at low tide, with stones and pebbles forming at the high water mark.
Facilities include parking, toilets and cafe.
Penmaenmawr Beach is a Blue Flag Beach and has been awarded a regional Seaside Award.
