Mousehole Beach (Cornwall)

Mousehole is a small fishing village that has a small strip of sand within the harbour and pebble/rocky beaches on either side of the harbour along with a tidal rock swimming pool.

This is a typical Cornish fishing village with narrow lanes to explore with hidden shops, galleries and places to eat.

Car park although the narrow streets get very busy in the summer.

Mousehole Beach has dog restrictions. Mousehole beach does not allow dogs on quays or beach at anytime.
No dogs on beach and rocks outside of the harbour between 8am - 7pm 1st May - 30th September.

  • Nice village but not a beach.
This is a village to visit whilst in Cornwall but don’t come for the beach. On a hot day I believe the tidal swimming pool in the rocks could be good but on our visit it was cloudy and windy and so not inviting.
