Long Rock Beach

Long Rock is a sand and pebbles beach that has a shallow gradient so a lot of water before it gets deep which makes safe family swimming.

The beach sits in the middle of the long stretch of sand within Mount’s Bay.

No direct lifeguards but the east end of the beach touches on the Marazion beach that does have summer lifeguards.

Long Rock Beach has dog restrictions.
Long Rock beach does not allow dogs between Easter and October.

Long Rock Beach Water Quality

Water samples are taken at regular intervals during the bathing season and at the end of the season the water quality is classified as:
  - Excellent: the highest classification meaning the water is cleanest
  - Good: generally good water quality
  - Sufficient: meets minimum standards
  - Poor: You are advised not to swim. The beach will stay open and an action plan should be in place to improve the water quality.
