Penhale Sands Beach Info | Cornwall Coast

Penhale Sands and Perranporth Beach form a three-mile stretch of excellent sand. The Atlantic-facing dunes at Penhale are a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Penhale is one of the largest dune systems in Cornwall, spanning 620 hectares.

Penhale is less busy than Perranporth and is accessible from Perranporth or the car park near the holiday park. Penhale Sands is dog-friendly and allows dogs all year.

Facilities include parking, toilets and lifeguards in the summer months.
