Perranporth Beach (aka Perran Sands)
Perranporth Beach is also known as Perran Sands and along with Penhale Sands forms a long stretch of excellent sand backed by a large area of sand dunes that include the historic sites of St Pirans Cross and St Pirans Oratory.
The beaches are popular with surfers and zoning is in place for water sports. The currents can be strong and it is recommended that you enter the water between lifeguard flags.
Lifeguards in the summer months, car parking, toilets and plenty of options for places to eat.
Perranporth Beach has been awarded a regional Seaside Award.
