What’s on the menu?: Specialising in organic produce from Devon, this is a licensed café offering light meals and snacks throughout the day as well as fresh local seafood and homemade cakes.
And something else… The Venus Café is approved for holding marriage and civil ceremonies and is able to accommodate up to 90 guests inside for receptions. A marquee next to the beach is put up for larger gatherings.

Blackpool Sands is a privately managed beach in a sheltered bay surrounded pines. Unlike the name suggests you actually don’t get sand but fine shingle. Excellent safe family beach. Cafe, shop, lifeguard patrol, bathing raft, toilets and showers, disabled facilities, hire of kayaks, wet suits, snorkels and boogie boards.

Landcombe Cove is a small remote cove that sits to the west of Blackpool Sands. The beach has a difficult and steep access from the coast path above. The beach has no facilities.

Leonards Cove is small shingle beach with most people heading towards the large Blackpool Sands beach nearby. No facilities.

Strete Gate Beach is a fine shingle beach north of Slapton Sands. The beach has a car park but for other facilities, you will need to visit Torcross or Slapton Sands.
