John Muir Way is a very long, scenic walk on the East Lothian coast.

It stretches from East Lothian to Dunbar and offers breathtaking views and great countryside to enjoy on the way. This walk is named after John Muir who is famous for estalishing the environment movement in Scotland and America’s National Parks.

It starts at the border of England heading North through Berwick and ends at South Queens Ferry and the Forth of Firth bridges. In good weather this will take you about 5 days to complete. Many people just do part of the walk nearest to the place they are staying in.
