Sgurr Alasdair Info | Inner Hebrides Coast

Sgùrr Alasdair is the highest peak on Skye and the highest UK island summit at 992 m (3,255 ft).

Parking at Glen Brittle above the beach and the least technical route follows a feature known as Great Stone Chute which is a steep and loose scree chute whose ascent requires much effort and care. The final climb to the summit is a straightforward scramble.
