Stone Bay Beach, situated in the charming town of Broadstairs in Kent, is a delightful and somewhat hidden gem along the southeast coast. It is known for its scenic beauty and rugged white cliffs and offers a quieter alternative to the bustling Viking Bay, just a short walk away. Stone Bay is a favourite among families, sunbathers, and those searching for a peaceful seaside retreat.

At low tide, the beach reveals rock pools teeming with marine life, providing an excellent opportunity for exploration, especially for children interested in nature and the sea.

From 1 May to 30 September, dogs are prohibited on Stone Bay Beach between 10 am and 6 pm.

The beach’s facilities include a cafe, seasonal lifeguards, chalets for hire, toilets, and disabled access via Broadstairs Harbour at Viking Bay.
