Bran Sands is in the mouth of the Tees estuary, a sandy beach with dunes and very good location for bird watching.
Popular kitesurfing location although at low tide be careful of obstructions in the water.
The beach has parking but no other facilities.

As this beach lacks facilities it tends to be quieter than the more popular nearby beaches of Redcar and Saltburn. Parking and toilets available but for places to eat or drink you will need to head into Redcar.
