Stray beach is a sandy beach to the south of Redcar and the North of Marske sands. As this beach lacks facilities it tends to be quieter than the more popular nearby beaches of Redcar and Saltburn.
Parking and toilets available but for places to eat or drink you will need to head into Redcar.
We have no current information on dog restrictions for Stray Beach.
- Excellent: the highest classification meaning the water is cleanest
- Good: generally good water quality
- Sufficient: meets minimum standards
- Poor: You are advised not to swim. The beach will stay open and an action plan should be in place to improve the water quality.
