Information

Midhowe Broch was thought to be built somewhere between 200 BC and 200 AD and is located at the sea edge. Midhowe is funnel shaped, although only the bottom section remains today, with a double wall in between which had the stairway to the upper levels. The broch would have been surrounded by several smaller buildings.
