Cilgerran Castle is a ruined castle built in the 13th century situated in Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire.
Enjoying a position on a rocky outcrop overlooking the River Teifi and the spectacular Teifi Gorge, what remains of the castle are two substantial towers. The castle has inspired many artists over the centuries, including Turner.
Now owned by the National Trust, the castle is open to the public throughout the year for a small admission fee.
