The birthplace of Robert Blake (1598-1657), General-at-Sea, the Admiral Blake Museum houses a fascinating collection of local history and archaeology. There is plenty to see, from life in the earliest settlements to the colourful excitement of Bridgwater Carnival.

Read more…Wills Neck is the summit of the Quantock Hills and is one of the highest points in Somerset. Located about 8 miles north west of the county town of Taunton it stands at 384m high. It is possible to see Dartmoor, Exmoor, the Blackdown Hills, the Mendips and the Brecon Beacons from the top of the hill on a clear day.
