Exmoor National Park (Somerset)

    Exmoor is loosely defined as an area of hilly open moorland in west Somerset and north Devon and is named after the River Exe.

    Exmoor was designated a National Park in 1954.

    Exmoor has 55 kilometres (34 miles) of coastline and includes the highest sea cliff on mainland Britain, Great Hangman near Combe Martin at 318 m (1,043 ft) high, with a cliff face of 250 m (820 ft).
