Burnmouth Beach (The Scottish Borders)

    Burnmouth beach sits alongside the harbour at Lower Burnmouth. This has been a working harbour since the mid 1800’s.

    The beach does not have any sand but does have some interesting rock formations. This coast is popular with walkers and bird watchers with a wealth of birds that include Oystercatchers, Grey Heron, Eider Duck, Redshank, Herring gulls and Curlew.

    Burnmouth is the first village in Scotland after crossing the border with England.
