- The Strathnaver Museum is based in the former Parish Church of Columba in Bettyhill with its main theme being the tragic story of the Highland Clearances. One room is dedicated to the Clan Mackay and also tells the story of crofting life.
- The Farr Bay Inn is ideally located a few minutes walk from Farr beach and 15 minutes from Bettyhill. Each room includes a flat-screen TV with Amazon Fire TV, Netflix, on Demand Viewing and tea and coffee making facilities. The private bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. - The Cafe at Bettyhill is open to serve lunch, dinner and coffee 6 days a week during the summer months. Food consists of light lunches, fish and chips, home baking, coffee and teas, and we also have a craft shop upstairs. As well as the summer months we are open on a Friday and Saturday evening all year round as a fish and chip shop.
- Torrisdale Beach is a wide sandy beach with dunes located within Torrisdale Bay to the west of Bettyhill. The beach can offer some good waves for surfing. This beach has no facilities and requires a walk to access it. You have two realistic options, the first is from Torrisdale on the west end and the second is to the south-west of Bettyhill on the A836 once you have negotiated the River Naver that separates Bettyhill on the eastern end.
