Ferring Beach

Ferring Beach is just beyond the Goring end of the long Worthing seafront in West Sussex. This quiet pebble and shingle beach is popular with those looking for a more peaceful seaside experience away from the busier neighbouring towns like Worthing and Littlehampton.

This is the usual West Sussex pebble beach with a wooden groyne system and a steep pebble bank at the high watermark. The beach is ideal for rock-pooling at low tide and swimming at high tide, although the sea can be a long way out at low tide.

Facilities include a licensed beachside cafe that accepts dogs, toilets, and beach hut hire. Ferring Beach is easily accessible by car, with parking available, although the car park and toilets are open only for cafe hours.

Ferring is a great beach if you have a dog, as you have no restrictions and a great dog-friendly cafe!

Apart from enjoying the beach, you can explore the coastal footpath that offers scenic walks to Worthing to the east or Littlehampton to the west.
