1.  Lilac Cottage, Wells next the sea

2.  The Abbey Hotel, Norfolk

This hotel is spread over 3 floors and is ideally located in Wymondham which is about 10 miles south of Norwich.  It’s close enough to walk to the 16th century Abbey and grounds as well as the town centre.  The hotel provides a bed and breakfast service, with a full English breakfast that is second to none. Evening meals are not served, however there are many pubs, restaurants and takeaways within a ten minute walk of the hotel. Breakfast is served in the main reception room, which also serves as a lounge for the guests to relax in.

Abbey Hotel has seven attractive rooms, each equipped with a hospitality tray and coloured television. Two rooms offer en-suite facilities (one double and one family room), the remaining five offer standard facilities (three single rooms, one twin bedded room and one family room).

3.  Breydon Water Holiday Park

This family holiday park is on the edge of the Norfolk Broads just a short drive from Gt Yarmouth.  The area is known for its excellent beaches and attractions for the whole family.

This large park has two great villages just a short walk apart along a country lane. Choose Yare Village for family fun and superb entertainment and Bure Village for a quieter base from which to explore the area. Guests are welcome to use the facilities at both.

Holme Cottage, Burnham Market, Norfolk

The major attraction about this cottage is the large secluded garden and nearby glorious sandy beaches.

It’s been refurbished to a high standard and has interesting features like beams and inglenook fireplaces.  Just 5 miles from the coast with it’s meandering coastal paths, sailing, art galleries and shops.  They offer accommodation for 4.  The house is no smoking and no pets though and prices start at £420.

5. Peacehaven, Heacham

Peacehaven is a lovely, sea facing house with direct access to the beach.  You wake up overlooking the ocean and can step from the garden right onto the beach.  It’s a great house for a family holiday on a safe beach with fun activities like crabbing for the kids and not far from good pubs, restaurants, shops and supermarkets.  Heacham is the home of Norfolk lavender and many other attractions to please the whole family.  The house is well equipped and doesn’t mind dogs!  It sleeps 7 and prices start from £400!
