Bridlington Kite Festival

There’s something magical about seeing kites dance above the North Sea. Every year, Bridlington’s wide South Cliff beach becomes a sky full of colour as expert flyers from across the UK and Europe show off their skills. Think giant whales, dragons, and intricate stunt kites swooping and twirling, it’s a proper feast for the eyes and a brilliant day out for all ages.

What to Expect:

• Mass Displays: Watch enormous single-line kites and choreographed team shows set to music.
• Fancy a go? Smaller kites are on hand for beginners.
• Food & Stalls: A wide range of street food and drink stalls, along with picnic tables if you want to bring your own food.
• Family Fun: Enjoy face painting, live music, and ample space for a picnic.
• Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times.
