Llandudno a Nostalgic Picture Postcard Town
Llandudno a nostalgic picture-postcard seaside town on the North Wales coast, sitting under a limestone headland, the Great Orme. A fantastic destination for families!
The seafront lined with Victorian townhouses snuggled close together, with manicured gardens and trimmed lawns making an exceedingly pretty seafront with an option of two very different beaches.
The Llandudno Pier is located at the end of the North Shore Beach under the Great Orme. The pier has quaint wooden stalls selling everything you would expect and has great views back along the seafront.
No visit should miss out on a trip up the Great Orme as you’ll be rewarded with a great view of Llandudno and North Wales coastline. Multiple options are available to get you to the summit, from an energetic walk, bus trip, the Great Orme Tramway or the Llandudno Cable Car.
For children, you have a beach but also a traditional Punch and Judy show set up on the seafront surrounded by old-fashioned wooden deckchairs and stripey parasols.
Llandudno really is a beautiful seaside location totally unspoilt and still retaining its original Victorian charm. Behind the townhouses that line the seafront, you will find a modern town high street with many interesting shops and plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs to cater for all tastes and budgets.
