Explore Castletown Seaside, Coast and Beaches
Castletown was the Manx capital until 1869 and this is evident in the well preserved medieval castle. Castletown has a lot of charm with a working harbour, narrow streets and is probably the town with most historical interest to Isle of Man visitors. The town sits on the northwest side of Castletown Bay with the islands airport just 2km to the northeast of the town.
