Callington (Cornwall) market town with access to the coast

Callington is a small town situated in the beautiful area of south east Cornwall between Dartmoor to the east and Bodmin Moor to the west. The town is 10 km (6 miles) from the Tamar valley and 22 km (14 miles) from Plymouth.

The Callington Mural Trail is unique in Cornwall where artists, both amateur and professional, have painted many walls of the town with a great mixture of colourful and interesting murals. The Mural Trail which will take the visitor around the Callington by way of various murals on buildings.

Just outside the town to the north-east you have the Kit Hill Country Park with its 400 acres (152 hectares) an ideal place for a wide range of activities including walking, bird watching, kite flying and picnics.
