Whitehaven is a harbour town on the Cumbria coast. The town’s main period of growth was during the 18th and 19th centuries based around the import/export of tobacco and coal.
This Georgian town, was one of the first post-renaissance planned towns in England. Today, Whitehaven has many restored Georgian Listed Buildings, along with a modern leisure harbour.
