The Ards Peninsula often just referred to as “The Ards” is a peninsula in County Down, Northern Ireland, that separates Strangford Lough from the North Channel of the Irish Sea on the north-east coast of Ireland and contains the most easterly point on the island of Ireland. The main towns on the peninsula are in the north Newtownards and Donaghadee whilst in the south you have Portaferry.
