Explore Flintshire Beaches and Coastline
Flintshire although a coastal Welsh county does not offer a lot in the way of beaches as it sits on the Dee estuary.
Leading away from the estuary you have Gronant Dunes also known as The Warren, a protected site and deemed a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and the only surviving largely unmodified dunes along the North Wales coastline.
