Filey (North Yorkshire) Seaside, Coast and Beaches

Filey is a small coastal town in North Yorkshire that sits on 8km (5 miles) of beautiful sandy beaches.

This is traditional family seaside resort, with its long sandy beach, rock pools, historic promenade, shops and a wide selection of places to eat and drink.

Filey is at the eastern end of the 110 mile Cleveland Way long-distance footpath. The path starts in the west at Helmsley and skirts the North York Moors on it's route to the coast.

Filey hosts an annual folk festival every year in early May.
