Wyre, Orkney Islands

Wyre (Orkney Islands) Seaside, Coast and Beaches

Wyre is one of the smallest inhabited islands in the Orkney archipelago.

The island is low lying and includes two ancient monuments Cubbie Roo's Castle and St Mary's Chapel.

Although a small island with no beaches as such it is a good place for a walk with some great spots for bird and seal spotting.

Why not check beaches nearby as we have no beaches around Wyre and 18 beaches in Orkney Islands. You can even take a look at our list of Orkney Islands dog friendly beaches or even our United Kingdom Blue Flag beach list.
