Bettyhill is a village in the parish of Farr, on the north coast of Scotland.
Bettyhill’s main attractions are the expanse of Torrisdale Bay, the smaller sandy bay of Farr Bay, the Strathnaver Museum and salmon fishing on the River Naver.
The Strathnaver Museum is probably better known as “The Mackay Museum”, as the whole of the north-western highlands was known as “Mackay Country”.
In the early days of Bettyhill formed an important fishing station but today all you have is the little disused pier.
