Fountainstown Beach is located on the South Cork coast, west of the entrance to Cork Harbour. What you get is dependent on the tide as the beach is a mix of sand, pebbles and rocks and at high tide, you don’t have sand.
The beach has seasonal lifeguards, car parking, toilets, benches and a small shop with coffee, ice-creams and a few more basic items.
