Malin Head is located on the Inishowen Peninsula, County Donegal and is the most northerly point of the island of Ireland. The northernmost tip is the headland named Banba’s Crown.

Kinnagoe Bay Beach is a sandy beach below hills on the north-eastern coast of County Donegal. The top of the hills have some great views over to he Scottish islands of Islay and Jura. Fort Dunree is a coastal defence located on the west side of the Inishowen peninsula. Originally built as a Royal Navy position during the Napoleonic Wars, the fort is located on a rocky promontory accessed over a natural fissure.
