Balcarrick Beach (aka Donabate Strand)
Balcarrick beach has a long stretch (3 km) of sand and is backed by sand dunes. The beach is also known as Donabate Strand.
As the tide goes out you get some rock pools to explore and at the northern end by the car park, you have an early 19th-century Martello tower.
Facilities include a car park, toilets, cafes and seasonal lifeguards.
Balcarrick Beach is a Blue Flag Beach.
