Dalkey Island

Dalkey Island is an uninhabited island located only 5 minutes by boat from Coliemore Harbour in Dublin Bay. Although no uninhabited it has not always been the case with the remains of field systems, church ruins, a cairn burial, a gun battery and the Martello Tower still exist.

Dalkey Island is home to a colony of seals, wild rabbits, a herd of wild goats and coastal birds, such as the Cormorant, Collared Dove, Dunnock, Mallard, Razorbill and Shelduck.
