Dhoon Glen Beach (aka Dhoon Bay Beach)
The Dhoon Glen Beach is an isolated rocky cove with pebbles and we recommend not to visit the beach in isolation but take in the whole of Dhoon Glen.
Dhoon Glen is a wooded valley that follows a stream with a waterfall halfway down the valley, known as the “Big Girl” and is one of the highest on the Island falling over 40 metres (130ft) in 2 drops.
A caution is that Dhoon Glen is one of the steepest glens on the Island with over 190 steps back up to the road.
This is a popular area for photography.
