Port Erin has two lighthouses, the first is a traditional tower lighthouse on the beach whilst the second is on the stone pier “Raglan Pier”, named after the Governor.
The Port Erin beach lighthouse is concrete construction and is 33ft high. On the promenade above the tower are a rear light, a red and white striped lampost with a red light, and a third light on the retaining wall below. It is when you have these 3 lights aligned you have safe entry into the bay.
The pier light is a 23 ft green and white skeletal tower and light on the end of the harbour pier.
